Rowing Handles

Carbon fiber rowing handles are designed with comfort and ease of use as the top priority. All carbon rowing handles allow a 6cm range of adjustability. Correct selection of handle size is critical in optimizing performance. A handle that is too small may result in excessive wrist movement while feathering the oar. A handle that is too large may fatigue the rower's forarms. A variety of sizes, shapes and surfaces are available to accomodate the needs of all rowers.

  • Large (42mm outside - 45mm inside) - white end cap.
  • Large (42-45mm tapered) - grey end cap.
  • Medium (42mm straight) - yellow end cap.
  • Small (39mm outside - 42mm inside) - black end cap.
  • Small (39mm-42mm tapered) - blue end cap.
  • Extra Small (36-39mm tapered) - pink end cap.

Rowing Grips

Croker rowing handles are available with a variety of surfaces: blue foam rubber, timber veneer, and shrink rubber.

  • Blue Foam - the standard blue foam grips seen on most Croker rowing oars. The softer surface provides excellent grip and is infused with anti-bacterial agents.
  • Timber Veneer - the familiar feel of wood on an adjustable carbon handle. For those crews that are looking for the traditional feel of a rowing handle without compromising adjustablity. The veneer should not be sanded or roughed up as it is very thin.
  • Shrink Rubber - a hard wearing heat shrink rubber surface providing a good compromise between grip and longevity.

Rowing Sleeves

All Croker oars are fitted with a copolymer, interlocking injection moulded sleeve and button system. NOTE: Magik oarlocks are not recommended for use with Croker sleeves.

Mk3 - Asymmetric (snap-together)

The Mk3 sleeve is the standard sleeve used on all Croker rowing oars. It features a snap together interlocking clip system with only two flat surfaces. The asymmetric design reduces the distance between the shaft and the face of the oarlock resulting in improved performance. The geometry provides excellent stability both on the square and the feather.

The Mk3 sleeve. Fits all rowing shafts (M47, M4, M2).

Mk1 - Standard Symmetric

The original Mk1 standard symmetric sleeve comes in two parts: the sleeve body and the wear plate. The inboard measurements are calibrated on the back of the wear plate. The geometry of the sleeve, provides excellent stability both on the square and the feather. The wear plates can be replaced as required without removing the sleeve.

The Mk1 sleeve. Fits all standard size rowing shafts (M4, M2).

Rowing Buttons

Mk3 buttons are dual sided and can rotated port to starboard for a fresh wear surface. Mk1 buttons have only one wear surface and must be replaced once worn.
